I’ve discovered that the absolute best way to keep cilantro is to cut off just the very top of a 1-liter soda bottle (cut right at the “shoulder” where it stops curving and becomes straight) and put a couple of inches of water in it. Next, cut the ends off your cilantro so you have fresh cuts ends, and place the cilantro in the bottle. Make sure no leaves are in the water. Only stems should be in the water or you’ll quickly have brown slimey water. Store on the refrigerator door.
