I hope you’ve read Eric Kraft’s Reservations Recommended, one of the few complete novels that takes a restaurant critic as its protagonist.
Very funny. Eric Kraft is the guy who did the Peter Leroy series and other wondrous novels. He’s running out of steam these days, but Reservations Recommended is from long before that.
